Alpha-1 Security Program

Baxter has created a new patient assistance program, Alpha-1 Security

After listening to patients and healthcare professionals in the Alpha-1 community, Baxter has created a patient assistance program called Alpha-1 Security. Previously we asked patients who use ARALAST NP to collect, maintain and redeem paper certificates in order to be eligible to receive Baxter therapies at no cost. We are happy to announce that patients no longer need to worry about managing certificates, and the waiting period has lessened. We believe these are important benefits to our program.

We also have expanded our assistance to embrace all Alpha-1 patients, including newly diagnosed patients and those who are not currently using ARALAST NP therapy. Anyone who requires Alpha-1 therapy, experiences a lapse in insurance or is underinsured and meets the program's eligibility requirements can access ARALAST NP therapy at no cost.

• Print the enrollment form, which upon completion may be faxed to 1-800-752-0595 or mailed to: PAREXEL, P.O. Box 230906, Centreville, Virginia 20120.
